Job summary

LPU Batangas in San Francisco is seeking a junior structural eng. focused candidate to support analysis, design, and drafting across steel, concrete, masonry, and timber systems.

You will collaborate with architects and other engineers while gaining hands-on field experience and utilizing industry software. The role emphasizes collaboration, learning, and applying structural principles to real projects, with supervision from a Senior Structural Engineer.

Qualifications

• Team collaboration and creative/critical thinking are required.
• Basic understanding of Revit for drafting and design.
• Strong grasp of structural engineering concepts and communication.
• Ability to interpret sketches, drawings, and programs.
• Familiar with MS Office, Revit, Enercalc, and SAP or similar tools.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Completion of junior-level design courses in steel and concrete.

Responsibilities

Your Role

• Perform structural analysis, design, and detailing of steel, concrete, masonry, and timber systems.
• Conduct basic interpretations of drawings, codes, and related materials.
• Use Revit for structural design and drafting.
• Collaborate with architectural, interior, and other engineering disciplines for project coordination.
• Perform field work as directed by a senior engineer.
• Carry out basic calculations to analyze and design building components using company standard and proprietary software.
• Assist with engineering duties on projects of varying complexity.
• Collect data and gather information to support design decisions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by senior engineering staff.

About You
