Mars, Incorporated in the Chicago area is offering a Summer 2027 Mars Snacking Research and Development Internship. You will gain exposure to compliance, science & technology, and sensory areas, with a dedicated mentor guiding you on-site.

This ten to eleven week program emphasizes hands-on learning, real business problems, and opportunities to network with peers and leaders. Eligible students are pursuing degrees in Food Science, Environmental Science, Biological Systems, Packaging, or Chemical

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as Food Science, Environmental Science, Biological Systems, Packaging or Chemical Engineering.
• Interest in data analytics, consumer insights, or sensory.
• Demonstrates curiosity, passion and a results-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Exposure to compliance, scientific and regulatory affairs.
• Experience in Science & Technology and sensory evaluation.
• Work with a Functional Lead as on-site mentor.
