Pacific Life Insurance is hiring Sales Interns in Omaha, Nebraska for the summer. You will learn wholesaling basics, gain real-world experience, and be paired with mentors to guide your growth in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

As a Sales Intern, you will play a key role in Pacific Life's culture and long-term success. Our Summer Sales Internship Program combines hands-on learning with exposure to multiple areas of business. Interns are assigned mentors to guide them through their journey at Pacific Life. Interns will gain real-world experience, practical application and skill development at a company known for its legacy, innovation, strength and a vision for the future.

What You'll Do

You will have an opportunity to learn about wholesaling from the inside, supporting Internal and External Wholesalers in running their daily business through:

• Sending marketing materials to financial advisors to help them better understand Pacific Life's products and services
• Compiling, reviewing, and organizing vital data to help Internal Wholesalers follow up on business leads
• Maintaining the database of financial advisors with current contact and business information
• Contacting financial advisors to promote continuing education opportunities
• Working on projects that allow you to collaborate with other interns and employees across several departments
• Gaining industry knowledge and developing impactful presentation skills
• Developing your network and creating your brand for future opportunities in the industry
• Opportunities to meet with Senior Leadership

Factors for Success

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Experience with MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Salesforce

The base pay rate for this position is $23.00 per hour.

Paid housing available if primary residence is outside of 50 mile radius from office location.
