Job summary

Hylant offers a Summer Internship Program designed to build practical skills in insurance sales and risk management. You will join a cohort of interns and gain hands-on experience while learning through mentorship and real client interactions.

As a rising student or new graduate, you will support marketing, CRM activities, and event outreach across Hylant’s nationwide offices, with potential scholarship opportunities and exposure to a Best Place to Work culture.

Qualifications

• Rising junior/senior or graduate-level status.
• Maintain GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying potential leads through research and outreach using HubSpot.
• Help maintain and update lead databases or CRM systems.
• Participate in creation of email campaigns under supervision.
• Schedule meetings for Client Executives and follow-ups.
• Support creation of promotional materials or social media content.
• Assist in tracking marketing campaign effectiveness and prepare reports.

The Hylant Internship Program will offer you an exceptional opportunity to join a cohort of other talented interns, where you’ll gain practical experience, build vital skills, and forge meaningful connections within the insurance industry.Join Hylant’s Summer Internship Program to gain hands-on experience in insurance sales and risk management within a collaborative, award-winning culture.Your RoleHere’s what you will be doing:Assist in identifying potential leads through research and outreach in Hubspot.Help maintain and update lead databases or CRM systems.Participate in creation of email campaigns under supervision.Schedule meetings or follow-ups for Client Executives.Support the creation of promotional materials or social media content.Help organize and attend community events or webinars to promote services.Assist in tracking the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.Learn about different insurance products and how they meet client needs.Shadow experienced Client Executives during client consultations or sales meetings.Track sales metrics and prepare weekly or monthly performance reports.Analyze customer feedback or sales data to identify trends or opportunities.Assist in competitor analysis and market research.Maintain communication logs and assist with client retention efforts.Take on projects that support the team where necessary.About YouWhat you'll need:Rising junior, senior, or graduate-level standing at an accredited college or university, or graduated within the past seven months.Maintain an average GPA of 3.0 or higher.Ability to work from one of Hylant’s office locations nationwide.Availability to work from May 18-August 13, 2027, with some flexibility.Interest in a long-term career in insurance.Involvement in extracurricular activities and/or part-time job recommended.Major in Risk Management and Insurance, Sales, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, IT, Business, HR, or Communications preferred but not required.Authorized to work for any U.S. employer; Hylant cannot provide H-1B visa sponsorship.Compensation & BenefitsEligibility to apply for a $5,000 scholarship upon successful completion for juniors or seniors.Experience a professional environment with an award-winning culture rated Best Place to Work in Insurance for 17 years.Opportunities to meet clients, carriers, and vendors, including shadowing and on-site visits.Visit multiple Hylant offices to expand your network and experience company culture.Training & DevelopmentParticipate in a six-week “Intro to Insurance” self-guided course covering industry terminology and practices.Engage in summer-long professional development courses to enhance soft skills and personal potential.Work collaboratively with mentors and Hylant leaders throughout the internship.Participate in the Hylant Innovation Challenge, consulting with executive leadership on real business solutions.Career ProgressionSuccessful interns at junior or senior standing may be eligible for scholarships and long-term career opportunities within the insurance industry.How to ApplyPlease submit your application for review.
