Job summary

Oak Farms Dairy offers a hands-on internship in Texas to learn the full dairy manufacturing cycle from procurement to delivery. You will shadow departments across production, packaging, and warehousing, with lab testing at key steps, and ride along on a route to observe distribution.

The program targets juniors or seniors in dairy-related sciences. You will also shadow merchandising, inventory management, and cost accounting while supporting daily operations.

• Junior or senior in fall 2027 with a degree focus in dairy sciences.

Responsibilities

• Introduction to the entire Manufacturing Process from Procurement to raw material receiving, to pasteurization, to Filling, to Packaging, to Warehouse Stocking, to Warehouse Loading, with Lab Testing at each necessary step.
• Shadow a Merchandising Rep on their route of inventorying, stocking and ordering.
• Ride-along with a local route delivery.
• Shadow Finance to see Route Settlement and Cost Accounting.
• Shadow Inventory Management.

Requirements

The qualified candidate will be a junior or senior in the fall of 2027 with a degree focus in one of the Sciences Associated with Dairy.
