Job summary

GANDY'S is seeking a student intern to gain hands-on exposure across the dairy manufacturing process. The role includes observing procurement, pasteurization, filling, packaging, warehousing, and loading, with lab testing at key steps.

You will ride along a local route and shadow merchandising, finance, and inventory management activities to understand operations and cost accounting. The program targets juniors or seniors in dairy-related sciences for Fall 2027.

Qualifications

• The candidate should be a junior or senior in fall 2027 with a degree focus in dairy-related sciences.

Responsibilities

• Introduction to the entire manufacturing process from procurement to loading for delivery.
• Focus on each step from raw material procurement to loading trucks/trailers.
• Ride-along with a local route delivery.
• Shadow a Merchandising Rep on inventorying, stocking and ordering.
• Shadow Finance to observe route settlements and cost accounting.
• Shadow Inventory Management.

Requirements

The qualified candidate will be a junior or senior in the fall of 2027 with a degree focus in one of the Sciences Associated with Dairy.
