• Rising juniors (Winter 2028 or Spring 2029 grads) may participate in Huntington's Foundations Program, an 8-week, regionally focused experience where students partner directly with a manager and team, contribute to meaningful projects, build professional skills, and explore career opportunities across Huntington and the financial services industry.
• Rising seniors (Winter 2027 or Spring 2028 grads) may participate in the Enterprise Internship Program, an 11-week, role-aligned experience where students work directly with a manager and team on meaningful business initiatives. In addition to hands‑on project work, participants gain exposure to executive leadership, participate in Huntington's innovation project, and build connections that may lead to future full‑time opportunities.

Operations Internship Overview

The Enterprise Operations Team is looking for a mix of rising junior and rising senior interns to work in a variety of areas within the business including credit modernization, enterprise fraud, commercial business products, project support, data analysis, and process improvements/transformations. Within Enterprise Operations, interns gain exposure to business functions and partner directly with professionals to contribute to meaningful projects and initiatives while developing knowledge of the area. Successful candidates are curious, collaborative, and interested in learning more about careers in banking operations. Please note that not all Operations positions are available in each location.

Basic Qualifications

• High School graduate
• Enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate accredited University with at least one quarter/semester of school after the completion of the summer program.
• Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities and/or work experience
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office® applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Course(s) of study applicable to the area of business
• Ability to maintain professional composure in a dynamic work environment that often requires management and completion of multiple tasks
• Demonstrate sound judgment and ability to apply logical/critical thought processes when developing solutions
• Ability to display a positive business presence with management and external personnel
• A strong interest in Banking as a career
• Relevant Majors: Operations Management, Business Management, Data Analytics.
• Relevant Coursework: process improvement, data analysis, business principles, customer understanding, and others.
• Preferred Skills & Interests: Some data focused roles may require python, SQL, Power BI, or advanced Excel skills.

Compensation Range

21-23 The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Colleagues in Intern positions are eligible for paid holidays and Huntington’s retirement savings plan.
