Job summary

VHC Health in Arlington, Virginia, offers a Summer 2027 New Graduate Nurse Residency in 5A Total Joint-Ortho Surg. The program provides structured preceptorship, monthly cohort sessions, and paid, one-year residency to develop clinical reasoning, leadership and evidence-based practice skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's in Nursing or Bachelor's in Nursing required.
• New Graduate: one year of Nursing/Patient Care in an acute care setting.
• Licensed RN by Virginia Dept. of Health Professions or Compact Licensure; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect total nursing care for assigned patients and supervise staff.
• Adhere to department and hospital policies; communicate effectively in writing, verbally and visually.
