Entergy is seeking a engineering student or early-career professional to support Reactor Engineering and related departments in day-to-day tasks at our New Orleans site.
The role involves troubleshooting, data analysis, and preparing technical documents while coordinating multiple assignments and meeting deadlines. On-shift support during power maneuvers may be required, in a collaborative team setting.
Minimum education required of the position Pursing undergrad or master's degree in Nuclear, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering. Currently looking for rising juniors and seniors majoring in Nuclear, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering. Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher is required (on a 4.0 scale).
Minimum experience required of the position Some work experience beneficial but not required.
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position General business and accounting knowledge. Self-starter with strong analytical and communication skills; Must be proficient in MS office tools - Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Excellent organizational skills; Strong and positive team attitude and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize work and to handle multiple tasks; Ability to understand scope and objective of each assignment.
Must meet access authorization and fitness for duty requirements of a nuclear power station.
