Job summary

QTS Realty Trust in Duluth, GA is seeking a Capital Development Strategy Intern immersed in data-driven research and report building related to capital spend for current and future project portfolios.

You will collaborate with Development, Finance, Accounting and Procurement, support capital project requests, maintain cost projections, and help improve capital project management through new processes and documentation.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the specified fields.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Must be a US citizen.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, or related program
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint for presentations and Excel for data analysis and budgeting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Must be a US Citizen

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current full-time enrollment in one of QTS’s partner institutions (listed below) or a Blackstone Launchpad affiliate school: Auburn University Kansas State University Georgia State University Southern Adventist University Texas A&M University University of Kansas
• Previous internship or co-op experience researching capital projects and building out advanced reports for strategic planning
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Involvement in community activities outside of schoolwork (athletics, clubs, volunteering, part-time employment).
