• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, preferably Risk Management & Insurance, Business or Math (rising senior status in Summer of 2026 is highly preferred)
• Intermediate knowledge of personal computers
• Interpersonal skills
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to contribute in a team environment

Responsabilités

• The role will assist in operations such as quoting new business, processing renewals, and contributing to various underwriting projects that impact profitability.
• The program also offers a broad view of our organization through cross-functional experiences with departments such as Claims, Loss Control, Accounting and Sales.
• Job shadowing with experienced underwriters to observe territory management and book-building strategies.
• Field visits with Loss Control specialists to understand risk evaluation in diverse business environments.
• Agency interactions to learn how underwriting decisions align with agent relationships and submissions.
• Capstone presentation and feedback sessions that highlight your internship journey and impact.

Salary Statement

The hourly rate for this position is $21.00.
