Job summary

State Farm is seeking motivated interns to explore the Property & Casualty Claims space, starting in summer 2027. You’ll investigate, evaluate, and negotiate claims, while partnering with agents, insurers, and repair shops.

As an intern, you’ll: Dive deep into multiple facets of claims and explore the wider world of insurance operations.

We are looking for the following:

• Students majoring in Business, Risk Management/Insurance, Psychology, Criminal Justice—or other majors that align with our Claims’ business needs.

Internship Information

• Dates: The internship will occur betweenJune 2, 2027 - August 11, 2027
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 38.75 hours per week
• Due to the short duration of the summer program, it is an expectation that hired interns will be available for the duration of the summer internship with little to no disruption in work schedule.
• Pay: $24.00/hour
• Stipend: Interns selected for our summer internship program will be eligible for a $2,000 stipend!
• Internship Program Eligibility: To be eligible for the internship program, you must be a full‑time student currently enrolled throughout the duration of the internship.
• Work Arrangement
  • HYBRID: Selected interns should plan to spend time working from home and some time working in the office as part of our hybrid work environment. Please note that relocation benefits will not apply.
• HUB LOCATIONS: Richardson, TX; Tempe, AZ; Dunwoody, GA; Bloomington, IL
