Job summary

Momentive is offering a Summer 2027 Process Optimization Intern position within Product Stewardship. The role is a short-term, mentored assignment where you will lead projects to digitize, automate, and streamline regulatory data and records, gaining exposure to a global team and cross‑department collaboration.

You will work with Power BI dashboards, process mappings, and IT system integrations, applying Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills, while contributing to governance of regulatory

• Available for 40 hours/week for 10-12 weeks between May and August.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to automate, digitize and streamline Product Stewardship processes.
• Assist with IT system integration and process mapping.
• Develop and enhance Product Stewardship dashboards and documentation management using Power BI or similar tools.
• Migrate and tag regulatory documents to improve searchability and accessibility.
• Create workflows via Power Platform or similar tools to automate email-based processes.
• Collaborate with global teams and cross-functional departments.

Job Title: Summer 2027 Intern-Process Optimization Intern - Product Stewardship Summary:

This assignment will allow the self-motivated individual to engage in a short-term assignment with limited supervision. Among various responsibilities, this intern will have the opportunity to lead projects related to digitization, automation, and streamlining of product stewardship business processes associated with regulatory data and records. This intern will experience opportunities to virtually engage with our global product stewardship team and will also experience a variety of hands‑on opportunities through direct interaction with other internal departments. This position will last approximately three months.

Responsibilities Include:

• The role of Product Stewardship is to combine product and regulatory expertise to support business growth and ensure that Momentive products are safe for people and the environment and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Our Team is focused on improving our business processes we utilize to accomplish our role for ensuring compliance and supporting business growth.
• There are several projects identified to automate, digitize and streamline our business processes, utilizing internal software and artificial intelligence.
• Efforts to support new IT systems integration; efforts include process mapping and development or enhancements to existing systems to enable integration.
• Development and enhancements of Product Stewardship informational dashboards and documentation management through Power BI or other platforms, for communication of data and information to internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Enhancement of Product Stewardship data governance through migration of regulatory documents that are metadata tagged for searchability and globally accessible.
• Develop workflows through Power Platform or other collaboration software to automate business processes that are currently conducted through email.

Qualifications:

• Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be self-driven, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.

Program Minimum Qualifications:

• The candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship.
• The candidate is expected to be available 40 hours a week for a period of 10-12 weeks between the months of May and August.

Education Requirement:

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate or higher program in computer sciences, mathematics, chemical engineering, engineering related field or science related discipline.

What We Offer:

• Base Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00
• The base salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography.
