Job summary

Massachusetts Financial Services Company (MFS) offers a Summer Internship in a hybrid work environment. The 10-12 week program starts June 9, 2027 and ends August 13, 2027. Interns work full-time, 35-40 hours per week and are paid hourly.

The role supports multiple teams within the reporting function, including client reporting, publishing, regulatory publishing, and QC. Interns will learn about investing, mutual funds, and how sales works at an asset manager while following established policies

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support Regulatory Publishing Team to publish and verify documents monthly and on an ad hoc basis.
• Prepare and distribute version control spreadsheets.
• Prepare evidence for daily and monthly checklists.
• Update and maintain retail publishing events on SharePoint.
• Interact with Legal, Fund Treasury, Marketing, and Transfer Agency teams.
• Ensure materials are timely and deadlines are met.
• Prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines daily.
• Assist other teams in client reporting to complete weekly deliverables.

THE ROLE

At the conclusion of this position, interns will have increased their knowledge of investing, the mutual fund industry, employee engagement, and a firm understanding of how sales works at an asset manager.

The MFS Summer Internship program is a 10-12-week program, starting June 9th, 2027, and ending on August 13th, 2027. Students work full-time, Monday through Friday, 35-40 hours per week and are paid hourly. All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Internships are open to students who are rising seniors (class of 2028).

MFS is a hybrid work environment (with 2 remote days and 3 on-site days) unless otherwise stated in the job posting.

JOB SUMMARY

Following established policies and procedures, the student in this role will support multiple teams within the reporting function. The intern will contribute to the client reporting, publishing, regulatory publishing, and quality control (QC) teams throughout their time at MFS. In this position, the intern will assist team members by helping ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of performance and statistical data while adhering to established processes and standards.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Works with Regulatory Publishing Team Members to Publish and Web Verify Regulatory Documents on a Monthly and Adhoc Basis.
• Prepares and distributes version control spreadsheets.
• Prepares evidence for Daily and Monthly Checklists.
• Updates and maintains all retail publishing events on SharePoint.
• May Interact with a variety of groups across the company, including Legal, Fund Treasury, Marketing, MFS Transfer Agency.
• Ensures materials are timely, available and deadlines are met.
• Prioritizes multiple projects/deliverables with competing deadlines on a daily basis.
• Assist other teams in client reporting to complete weekly deliverables.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively and efficiently.
• Working knowledge of computer based programs including MS Word and Excel.

Hourly Pay Rate: $21.00-$25.00
