Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Savannah, GA is offering a Summer 2027 Collegiate Associate Internship in Flight Operations Engineering. The program provides real-world projects across departments, exposure to state‑of‑the‑art facilities, and opportunities to interact with company leaders while building a professional network.

Interns may contribute to projects in flight operations, engineering, safety systems, and analytics, with on-site work requirements and housing stipend options.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (unrounded); listed on resume.
• Minimum duration: 10–12 weeks (summer); 10–16 weeks (spring and fall).
• Must work onsite; this is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Support Gulfstream Flight Operations to improve efficiency across the fleet.
• Interface with Flight Operations Supervisor, Directors, Chief Pilots, Dispatch Senior Manager and VP of Flight Ops to complete projects.
• Complete assigned projects including flight safety systems, business intelligence/analytics, flight operations, and aeronautical or systems engineering.
• Support efficient work practices and processes.

About the position

Gulfstream engineering interns in Innovation, Engineering and Flight are an integral part of the engineering staff, contributing to projects that are both technically challenging and educationally stimulating.

We are looking for all levels of educational experience —from undergraduates to master's and PhD students—who are seeking professional experience in a state-of-the‑art engineering environment. • Flight Operations

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• This position will support the Gulfstream Flight Operations organization to improve efficiency across the company's Gulfstream fleet.
• Interns will interface with the Flight Operations Supervisor, Directors, Chief Pilots, Dispatch Senior Manager and VP of Flight Ops to complete projects that enhance processes and efficiencies for all mission-specific Gulfstream fleets (e.g., production test, demonstration, Airborne Customer Support).
• Complete assigned projects and work plans that include - but are not limited to – flight safety systems, business intelligence/analytics, flight operations, and aeronautical, mechanical, or systems engineering.
• Support efficient work practices and processes.

Education and Other Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a college aviation program such as pilot training, aircraft dispatch, business aviation, or a related field.

Must be available to work on-site in Savannah, GA during the Summer 2027 semester, beginning in May 2027.

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (without rounding); must be listed on resume.
