Job summary

David Weekley Homes in Indianapolis invites an enthusiastic Summer 2027 Construction Management Intern to join our team. This hands-on internship offers exposure to residential construction and the chance to learn from experienced builders delivering quality homes.

You'll assist with scheduling, quality assurance, safety, and cost control, while supporting warranty processes and customer service, gaining practical insight into daily operations on a homebuilding site.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a full-time college program with an interest in pursuing residential construction and/or real estate.
• Able to work up to 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Gain firsthand exposure to the entire homebuilding process, from pre-contract activities through construction, closing and post-closing service.
• Learn day-to-day responsibilities of a Builder, including scheduling, quality assurance, safety, cost management and material control.
• Participate in warranty processes, including reviewing service requests and addressing Customer questions and concerns.
• Understand how exceptional Customer Service contributes to homeowner satisfaction and overall business success.

This hands‑on internship offers the opportunity to learn from experienced homebuilding professionals, gain exposure to residential construction and discover what it takes to deliver an exceptional homebuying experience.

What You’ll Experience:

• Gain firsthand exposure to the entire homebuilding process, from pre‑contract activities through construction, closing and post‑closing service
• Learn the day‑to‑day responsibilities of a Builder, including scheduling, quality assurance, safety, cost management and material control
• See the David Weekley Way in action and understand the standards that guide how we build homes and serve our Customers
• Participate in the warranty process, including reviewing service requests and helping address Customer questions and concerns
• Develop an understanding of how exceptional Customer Service contributes to homeowner satisfaction and overall business success
