Job summary

David Weekley Homes is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Summer 2027 Construction Management Intern to join our Raleigh Division team. This hands‑on internship offers the opportunity to learn from experienced homebuilding professionals, gain exposure to residential construction and discover what it takes to deliver an exceptional homebuying experience.

You’ll participate in daily duties such as scheduling, quality assurance, safety, cost management, and material control, while gaining insight

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a full-time college program pursuing residential construction or real estate.
• Able to work up to 40 hours per week.
• Must have housing available in the greater Raleigh area for the duration of the internship.

Responsibilities

• Gain firsthand exposure to the entire homebuilding process from pre-contract to post-closing service.
• Learn day-to-day responsibilities of a Builder including scheduling, quality assurance, safety, cost management and material control.
• See the David Weekley Way in action and understand the standards that guide how we build homes and serve our Customers.
• Participate in the warranty process, reviewing service requests and assisting with Customer questions and concerns.
• Develop an understanding of how exceptional Customer Service contributes to homeowner satisfaction and overall business success.
