Job summary

Amgen invites applications for a Grad Intern – Digital Product in Technology, AI & Data for Summer 2027. The role supports the strategy, discovery, and delivery of digital products, collaborating with product managers, engineers, designers, data scientists, and domain experts to convert complex needs into scalable capabilities.

You’ll engage in discovery, backlog management, and cross-functional collaboration, applying qualitative and quantitative evidence to inform decisions and improve product

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s program preferred for internship tracks.
• PharmD or Ph.D. program candidates welcomed; first year completed before internship starts.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and data tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structured discovery for defined product opportunities by analyzing stakeholder needs and data.
• Translate insights into product artifacts: problem statements, personas, journey maps, user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog recommendations.
• Support end-to-end product delivery: backlog refinement, sprint planning, UAT, launch prep, post-launch learning.
• Use qualitative and quantitative data to assess product performance and identify gaps.
• Facilitate cross-functional sessions and clearly communicate progress, risks, and decisions.
• Contribute to roadmaps and strategic narratives linking user needs to measurable outcomes.
