Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Savannah, GA is seeking a Summer 2027 Completions Engineering Collegiate Associate Intern. The role focuses on developing and supporting interior furnishings and related engineering tasks for industry-leading aircraft.

You will work with experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in a world-class aerospace environment. The internship runs for 12–14 weeks during Summer 2027 and requires on-site work in Savannah.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (unrounded); must be listed on resume.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing the engineering package to meet aircraft specifications and FAA regulations.
• Provide technical assistance to engineering staff and complete tasks on schedule.
• Apply engineering knowledge to resolve aircraft-related issues using company procedures.
• Analyze business processes with team input to develop optimized solutions.
• Collaborate with various departments to complete engineering tasks.
• Develop knowledge of Gulfstream products and aircraft systems.
• Communicate effectively across Operations, Engineering, Sales, Material, and Procurement.

About the position

This position will focus on developing and supporting the interior furnishings of the aircraft.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities in Completions Engineering

• Assist in completing the engineering package to meet aircraft specifications, Gulfstream quality standards, and FAA regulations.
• Provide technical assistance to engineering staff and contribute by completing engineering tasks on schedule.
• Using company procedures, apply engineering knowledge to resolve aircraft related issues.
• Ability to analyze a business process, work with team’s input, and develop an optimized solution.
• Collaborate with various departments to complete engineering tasks.
• Develop knowledge of company products and aircraft systems.
• Communicate effectively across multiple organizations, including Operations, Engineering, Sales, Material, and Procurement.

Education Requirement

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following disciplines:
  • Aerospace Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Manufacturing Engineering
• Must be available to work onsite in Savannah, GA during the Summer 2027 semester, beginning in May 2027. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (without rounding); must be listed on resume.
