Job summary

Ulteig is seeking a talented Civil Engineer Intern to join our Civil team for Summer 2027 in Greenwood Village, CO. The role covers both design and construction, offering a well-rounded internship with mentorship from industry professionals.

You will gain practical experience applying classroom knowledge to engineering design, collaborate across disciplines, and support client-driven standards and schedules while working on metro and northern Colorado projects.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil or construction engineering.
• Working Knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D or Bentley Open Roads Designer preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work full-time during Summer 2027.
• Potential to continue internship through the school year based on performance and business needs.
• Must possess a current driver's license, and a good driving record.
• Must be available to commute to and work on metro and northern Colorado projects, out of the Denver Metro area office.
• Must have permanent authorization to work in the U.S.

The Opportunity

Ulteig is seeking a talented and motivated Civil Engineer Intern to join our Civil team for the 2027 summer. The selected candidate could support both construction and design, which will provide a well-rounded experience throughout the summer. We are looking for candidates that are eager to expand their knowledge base and grow their career. Prospective candidates are expected to be committed to client satisfaction, and adhere strictly to client-driven standards, schedules, budgets, and passionate about working with our clients and team!

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, implement, and analyze engineering systems

Additional Opportunity Details:
Target Base Compensation for this role is $25-$27/hr.
