Job summary

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence is seeking an Application Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 in Milwaukee, WI. This on-site internship targets students graduating in late 2027 or mid-2028 and offers hands-on experience in customer support, software applications, and product demonstrations.

Successful interns may transition into a full-time Application Engineer role after graduation. You will collaborate with global teams and learn CAD/CAM, simulation, and data analysis in real-world projects.

Qualifications

• Active pursuit of an Engineering degree with graduation in 2027 or 2028.
• Interest in engineering metrology and manufacturing technologies.
• Foundational knowledge of CAD/CAM tools, programming, or data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support demonstrations of Hexagon's measurement and manufacturing software to prospective customers.
• Assist with technical evaluations, product testing, and configuration of applications.
• Troubleshoot customer issues under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Contribute to preparing training materials, documentation, and technical presentations.
• Shadow engineers in customer engagements to learn how solutions are tailored to industry needs.
• Participate in cross-functional projects bridging R&D, product management, and customer support.
• Learn industry best practices in CAD/CAM, simulation, and data analysis.
