Job summary

Allianz Life is offering a Hedging Intern Analyst position for undergraduates or graduate students in technical fields. You will work with quants, portfolio managers, software developers, researchers, and traders to assess and mitigate market risks globally.

The role includes building technical skills, developing analytics, back-testing strategies, and using AI tools to add value to the hedge desk. Legal work authorization in the U.S. is required.

During the program, Hedging Intern Analysts will work alongside our team of quants, portfolio managers, software developers, researchers, and traders to assess and mitigate the market risks for Allianz Life and other clients across the globe.

What you do:

What you bring:

• Progress toward an undergraduate or graduate degree in mathematics, physics, computer science, actuarial science, engineering, or a related field.
• Strong technical skills in calculus, statistics, probability, software development.
• The right candidate will possess an outstanding record of academic achievement and an interest in the financial markets.
• You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future. This includes holders of H-1B, H4, L-1, L-2, TN, OPT, CPT, and other nonimmigrant visas.

Base Salary Range $31/hr – $35/hr

Note the job posting range is exclusive of company benefits or other compensation. If you are hired, your final base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, experience, skills, competencies, and/or education. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
