What you do:

You will support senior members of the team and the portfolio managers in research and analyzing our existing investments and investment opportunities. You must have the desire to learn from others on the team as well search out other relevant learning opportunities. You need strong analytic and communication skills, attention to detail and a solid understanding of financial markets and investment principles. You will report to the AIM Associate - Investment Analytics.

• Gathering and analyzing data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Developing and maintaining databases, spreadsheets, and other analytical tools to support data analysis and reporting.
• Conducting research and analysis: This involves collecting and analyzing financial data and economic trends on existing investments as well as to identify potential investment opportunities and assess the financial health of investments.
• Assisting senior analysts and portfolio managers: This includes supporting senior analysts and portfolio managers in conducting research, preparing reports, and modeling investment strategies to assist in making investment decisions.
• Training to understand our investment systems, investment flow and general financial services knowledge.
• Providing support for ad-hoc projects and requests as needed.

• Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources with a focus on calibrating generative AI models built on structured data.

What you bring:

• 1+ years of experience required: Relevant internship or work experience in the financial industry. Strong analytical, quantitative, critical thinking skills, and pays attention to details.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, MIS, or related field.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job posting range: $56,000 - $93,500

Note the job posting range is exclusive of company benefits or other compensation. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive program. If you are hired, your final base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, experience, skills, competencies, and/or education. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
