The purpose of this internship is to give college students hands‑on exposure to the full AI lifecycle at FNB. This would include but not be limited to exploring banking use cases like fraud detection, credit risk, personalization, automation, and compliance monitoring to designing, training, validating, and testing machine learning and generative AI models. Interns will also gain practical experience in data engineering and MLOps, including data pipelines, cloud platforms, and model lifecycle management. As an AI and Innovation Intern, you will apply your academic learning to real‑world scenarios across the enterprise. You will gain hands‑on experience in AI governance and responsible AI, including regulatory compliance, ethics, bias testing, security, and privacy in the banking domain. Interns will also collaborate with business, technology, cybersecurity, and compliance teams to understand how AI integrates into enterprise strategy and support vendor and tool evaluations to ensure alignment with the bank’s risk, security, and compliance standards.
