Job summary

Lansing - W Saginaw Hwy is seeking an Accounting Intern in Indianapolis to gain hands-on experience in financial management and business operations. The program introduces you to a Business Management Training path designed to prepare you for a future Business Manager role.

The role offers an in-person schedule, with a pay rate of $16 per hour and opportunities for growth as you progress through the program. Training begins in May, with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be a rising senior enrolled full time in a bachelor's degree program in Accounting or Finance with graduation between August 2027 - May 2028.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
• Schedule allows 25-40 hours per week, aligned with school commitments.
• No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record or in past five years (as applicable).

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements and analysis.
• Collaborate with rental branches and other departments.
• Support accounting managers with reports and schedules.
• Involved with A/P & A/R functions, cash receipts, and petty cash.
• Perform miscellaneous administrative duties as needed.

Overview

Our Accounting Intern position will introduce you to our Business Management Training program which fully prepares you to become a Business Manager of your own financial operation.

A key partner in our organization, the Business Manager oversees all aspects of financial management and provides balance to the partnership formed with the marketing and operational pieces of our business. The pay for this position is $16 / hr and is an in-person role reporting to our administrative office located at 7111 W. Washington St. Indianapolis, IN.

The schedule is Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statement & analysis
• Work closely with rental branches and other departments
• Assist accounting managers with reports, etc.
• Involved with A/P & A/R functions; cash receipts & petty cash
• Assist in accounting schedules & filing
• Perform miscellaneous administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be a rising Senior enrolled full time in a bachelor's degree program in Accounting or Finance with at a 4-year college or university graduating between August 2027 - May 2028
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the last 2 years.
• Must be able to work 25 -40 hours per week (we work around your school schedule)
• No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record in past 5 years (i.e. DUI/DWI).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• 10 - 12 week commitment with the availability to start from the 1st day of Training in May
