Summer 2026 Program Lead and Counseling Staff
Thousand Pines requires that staff be 18 years of age and a high school graduate or equivalent.
Program Leads – 3 Positions
Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily schedule (ringing the bell, directing guests, supervising campers).
- Oversee daily/nightly cabin checks, chapel sessions management, free-time activities.
- Act as first point of contact to meet the needs of guest campers and church leadership.
- Problem solve as needed.
Counseling Staff – 4 Positions
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual campers with a cabin counselor for the week.
- Stay in a cabin of students to serve as a Christian mentor and facilitate their week of camp.
- Attend counselor meetings and accompany cabin to all activities.
- Lead cabin in Bible devotions.
Requirements: Display a vibrant faith and relate well to junior high and high school students.
Program Activities – 4 Positions
Responsibilities:
- Host morning and evening chapels.
- Run stage games and facilitate transitions between band and speaker.
- Lead various activities and tournaments throughout the week.
- Use microphone confidently in front of large groups and articulate the Gospel.
Program Activities Supervisor – 1 Position
Responsibilities:
- Assist Program Manager in development and execution of all TP Programs.
- Handle administrative tasks such as meetings, schedules, and contracts.
Season Details
- Summer Seasonal, full time; live on site.
- Summer Season: May 31 – August 9.
- Pay rate $360–$420 a week depending on position and experience.
- Potential to stay after summer season at an hourly rate.
