Job summary

The Mosaic Company seeks a Site Superintendent for Sulfur Distribution Operations in Galveston, TX. This onsite role demands strong leadership to drive safety, reliability, and operational performance while engaging the workforce and guiding capital investments.

You will lead a complex Gulf Coast operation, partnering with engineering, maintenance, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure continuous improvement and a safe, compliant, efficient facility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in heavy industrial environments.
• Experience operating or managing industrial processes in a 24/7 setting.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and influencing skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Lead site operations and develop a high-performing team focused on safety, accountability, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Coach, mentor, and develop employees while fostering engagement and continuous improvement.
• Champion safe, efficient operations by identifying and resolving operational, equipment, and process-related challenges.
• Partner with engineering, maintenance, contractors, and project teams to support major capital projects and improve site performance.
• Serve as a key representative for the site with regulatory agencies, maritime stakeholders, vendors, and internal partners.
