Job summary

Legends is seeking a Seasonal Part-Time Suites Runner at Ball Arena to deliver food and beverages from production kitchens to Suites on two floors, stocking alcohol, water, and soda as needed. The role requires reading tickets and coordinating with servers and culinary staff to ensure accurate orders and great guest experiences.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, assisting guests with arena information, and adhering to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Busser/food runner experience in food & beverage for 2+ years.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull, and stand in a loud environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from kitchen to Suites on two floors in a timely, organized manner.
• Read kitchen tickets to ensure order accuracy and quality.
• Facilitate communication between servers and culinary team.
• Monitor guest dining experience and respond to guest requests promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and service areas.
• Provide arena information to guests and assist as needed.
• Perform general cleaning to meet health and safety standards.
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.

The Seasonal PT Suites Runner is responsible for delivering food from the production kitchens to Suites department on 2 floors as quickly and efficiently as possible to ensure great guest experiences. They also will stock all alcohol, water & soda.

• Deliver food and beverages from kitchen to Suites department in a timely and organized manner utilizing key information on kitchen tickets.
• Facilitate communication between the servers and culinary team
• Read kitchen tickets to ensure quality and accuracy of all orders
• Monitor and observe guests dining experience - Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service -
• Respond appropriately to guest requests. Communicate guest requests to Suites department immediately.
• Responsible for assisting in the overall cleanliness of the kitchen and service areas
• Provide guidance to guests including general arena information.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in the food and beverage industry as a busser or food runner for at least two(2) years
• High school diploma or equivalency
• Ability to work independently or in a team setting
• Ability to walk without aid up to 50lbs on a continuous basis, ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds, lift cases of alcohol & lift full chafers with 2 hands for the majority of the shift, bend, stoop, crawl, kneel, reach while stocking and cleaning.
• Ability to be standing and walking for entirety of the shift in a very loud, crowded environment.

This department is requesting 60% event availability; schedule published on Ball Arena website. Primarily afternoons and evenings. Christmas, Playoffs, NCAA, opening days, prep days, all Sunday inclusive dates, and all other mandatory dates.
