Job summary

Delaware North Sportservice is seeking seasonal Dishwashers for Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. Primary duties include washing, sanitizing, and organizing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure a clean, safe dining area for guests.

Shift timing is 6:00 pm to 1:00 am. Benefits include weekly pay, training and development, employee discounts, and flexible schedules. Night transportation is required to access the venue and support busy events.

Responsibilities

• Store clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
• Clean work area including equipment, floors, walls, and kitchen surfaces; keep storage organized.
• Remove trash from the dish room and transport to dumpster; sanitize garbage cans.
• Clean and sanitize dishes and utensils promptly and thoroughly.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and dispose of trash; maintain sanitizer levels per health standards.

The opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Dishwashers to join our team at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. When you use your knowledge of kitchen operations as a Kitchen Helper and Utility Worker, nothing will block your path on our team. Carefully cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen space and equipment, as well as all equipment used for serving food and beverages, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and quality dining experience for our guests, is our focal point.

Shift:

6:00 pm- 1:00 am

Pay

$15.25 – $15.25 / hour

What will you do?

• Store clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
• Clean work area including equipment, floors, walls, and cooking area, keeping the kitchen wares storage organised
• Remove trash from the dish room and transport it to the dumpster, as well as clean and sanitize the garbage cans
• Must be able to clean and sanitize the dishes and utensils in a timely manner
• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, disposing of trash and lifting are tasks to be completed every shift ensuring all sanitizer levels on dish machines and pot sinks meet the specific requirements for health standards

Physical requirements

• Must be able to carry up to 35 lbs, placing items above and below head height
