Job summary

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Dishwashers to join our team at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. You will wash and sanitize dishes and kitchen utensils, maintain a clean and safe work area, and support the overall efficiency of the food service operation.

The role requires evening shifts, weeknights, and weekends, with a typical 6:00 pm–1:00 am schedule. We offer weekly pay, training opportunities, employee discounts, and flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Store clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
• Clean work area including equipment, floors, walls, and cooking area, keeping the kitchen wares storage organised.
• Remove trash from the dish room and transport it to the dumpster, and clean and sanitize the garbage cans.
• Must be able to clean and sanitize the dishes and utensils in a timely manner.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, dispose of trash and lift as part of each shift to meet health standards.

The opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Dishwashers to join our team at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. When you use your knowledge of kitchen operations as a Kitchen Helper and Utility Worker, nothing will block your path on our team. Carefully cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen space and equipment, as well as all equipment used for serving food and beverages, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and quality dining experience for our guests, is our focal point.

Shift:

6:00 pm- 1:00 am

Pay

$15.25 - $15.25 / hour

What will you do?

• Store clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
• Clean work area including equipment, floors, walls, and cooking area, keeping the kitchen wares storage organised
• Remove trash from the dish room and transport it to the dumpster, as well as clean and sanitize the garbage cans
• Must be able to clean and sanitize the dishes and utensils in a timely manner
• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, disposing of trash and lifting are tasks to be completed every shift ensuring all sanitizer levels on dish machines and pot sinks meet the specific requirements for health standards

Physical requirements

• Must be able to carry up to 35 lbs, placing items above and below head height
• Standing, walking, bending for the duration of the shift, occasionally pushing and pulling to move equipment, mops, and brooms
