Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Suite Attendant for AMERANT BANK ARENA. This part-time role involves delivering high-quality hospitality in private suites during events, ensuring suites are set, stocked, and attentive to guest needs.

You will work in assigned suites, with pre-event, in-event, and post-event duties, and lifting requirements as needed. Applicants should have a High School diploma or equivalent, hospitality experience preferred, and must hold valid alcohol-service certification standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Previous food & beverage, hospitality, or premium service experience preferred.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol per local/state laws.
• Must maintain a valid alcohol-service certification (TIPS/TEAM or equivalent) and comply with state training requirements.
• Food handler certification may be required by state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized food and beverage service to guests in private suites during events.
• Set, stock, and maintain suites; respond to guest needs in a timely, professional manner.
• Work exclusively within assigned suites and support pre-event, in-event, and post-event activities.
• Review menus and service expectations before guest arrival; monitor guest needs to enhance experience.
• Lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally.

Employment Type: Part-time

Pay Range: $11.98 per hour - $17.95 per hour

What You’ll Do:

As a Suite Attendant at Sodexo, you will provide personalized food and beverage service to guests in private suites during events. This role serves as the primary point of contact for suite holders and their guests and is responsible for delivering a high‑quality, hospitality‑focused experience throughout the event. Suite Attendants ensure suites are properly set, stocked, and maintained while responding to guest needs in a timely and professional manner.

Suite Attendants work exclusively within assigned suites and support pre‑event preparation, in‑event service, and post‑event cleanup. Responsibilities may vary based on venue type, event expectations, and service offerings.

Responsibilities include:

• Review menus, order details, and service expectations prior to guest arrival.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of suites throughout the event.
• Monitor guest needs and proactively offer service to enhance the overall suite experience.
• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 40 pounds.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

What You Bring:

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Previous food and beverage, hospitality, or premium service experience preferred.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol based on local and state regulations.
• Must maintain a valid TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures), TEAM (Techniques for Effective Alcohol Management), or equivalent alcohol‑service certification, and comply with all state‑specific alcohol training requirements.
• A food handler certification may be required based on state or local regulations.
