Job summary

Sugarloaf is seeking Night Shift Controllers for the Snowmaking Team in Carrabassett Valley, ME. You will monitor and control pumps and compressors from the control room, log maintenance, and coordinate actions with on-hill staff. The role requires good communication and the ability to work nights and weekends.

Starting wage is $20/hour with perks and a supportive team culture. Must be 18+ and computer-savvy to operate water pump and compressor programs and maintenance logs.

Overview Sugarloaf is looking for computer savvy and mechanically inclined individuals to join our Snowmaking Team as our Night Shift Controllers. Snowmaking Controllers monitor and control pumps and compressors in the system from the control room as needed and as requested by the snowmaking teams on the hill.

Overview Sugarloaf is looking for computer savvy and mechanically inclined individuals to join our Snowmaking Team as our Night Shift Controllers. Snowmaking Controllers monitor and control pumps and compressors in the system from the control room as needed and as requested by the snowmaking teams on the hill.

Candidates need to be good communicators that enjoy working independently within a team environment to share pertinent information with the snowmaking team.

Computer skills are required to run the program for water pumps, compressors, maintenance logs, and to make decisions for the snowmaking operation.

A Controller must able to maximize efficiency; run necessary components according to temperature, monitor water and air flows; and must be able to turn compressors and pumps on and off accordingly.
