American Crystal Sugar Company is seeking a Process Engineer for our Drayton, ND factory. The role focuses on identifying process changes to increase throughput and sugar recovery while reducing processing costs, ensuring programs are effective and compliant.

Key responsibilities include leading a positive culture, guiding projects, coordinating maintenance, and optimizing wastewater management. Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or an ACSC trainee program (or 3 years

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Engineering Trainee program OR 3 years of experience required.
• 5-7 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and promote a positive work culture aligned with Company Values.
• Identify process changes to improve throughput, sugar recovery and reduce costs.
• Provide input on projects to ensure safe, sanitary conditions and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate maintenance and capital projects with Maintenance Superintendent and Engineers.
• Review wastewater management to minimize wastewater generation during processing season.
• Support training to develop management and union personnel and improve factory performance.
