American Crystal Sugar Company in Drayton, ND seeks a Process Engineer to identify changes that boost throughput and sugar recovery while reducing costs. You will ensure programs meet safety and regulatory standards and collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to drive profitable operations.

Qualified candidates have a relevant engineering degree (Chemical or Mechanical), possibly the ACSC Engineering Trainee program or 3+ years of experience, with 5–7 years preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Engineering Trainee program completion or 3 years of experience; 5–7 years preferred.
• Knowledge of sugar processing industry preferred.
• Strong communication and time management skills are required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and promote a positive work culture through Company Values (Safety, Integrity, Quality, Teamwork, Accountability).
• Identify changes in production to improve process efficiencies, quality, and reduce costs.
• Ensure programs are effective and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate maintenance and capital projects with Maintenance Superintendent and Engineers.
• Review wastewater management to minimize wastewater generation during processing season.
• Provide resources and training to develop management and union personnel for improved skills and performance.
