ASR Group is seeking a Packaging Laborer to support multiple packaging stations. The role involves heavy lifting, repetitive motions, and standing for long periods in a busy sugar packing environment.

Ideal candidates will have flexibility for various shifts, adhere to safety protocols, and operate basic packaging equipment. The position is entry level with opportunities to learn manufacturing processes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Entry level position requiring continuous heavy labor.
• Ability to work weekends/holidays as needed.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must wear PPE (safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, hearing protection, hard hat).
• Packaging environment with sugar dust and cleaning agents.

Responsibilities

• Package, seal and convey sugar packages weighing 1 to 2000 pounds.
• Perform tasks such as check weighing, cutting-in damaged packages, station cleaning, sorting and stacking, lifting 24–50 pounds for hand palletizing.
• Operate industrial hand trucks to transport palletized materials.
