Job summary

Capital Digestive Care, LLC in Virginia Beach seeks a skilled Physician Assistant with GI experience to join our gastroenterology team. You will develop treatment plans, apply clinical judgment, and document care accurately under supervising physicians.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited PA program, Virginia licensure, and ACLS certification; 2–3 years of practice preferred, especially in gastroenterology.

General Duties/Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a high degree of GI/general medical knowledge and exhibits strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills and knowledge to assess the needs of patients.

• Ability to develop comprehensive plan of treatment for assigned patients based on patient needs, standards of care, clinical knowledge and expected patient outcomes
• Demonstrates ability to set goals, assign priorities, anticipate problems, establish limits and achieve quality results
• Written documentation is accurate, thorough, objective and communicated as appropriate and necessary to supervising physicians

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program
• 2-3 years prior practitioner experience (Gastroenterology preferred)
• Licensure in the State of Virginia
• ACLS Certification
