Job summary

Dewberry is seeking a Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Utility Analyst for our North Carolina survey practice in Charlotte. You will coordinate SUE field crews, travel statewide, and work with management and other survey teams to deliver accurate utility designations and records.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, willingness to travel, and a valid driver's license. Prior SUE Party Chief experience is preferred, with relocation assistance available where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience as SUE Party Chief preferred.
• Must be able to travel.
• Must have a valid driver's license and pass a driving record check.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates operations of SUE field crew.
• Coordinates with project leads, clients and utility providers.
• Performs field assignments including vacuum excavation and utility designation.
• Operates and maintains utility locating equipment.
• Performs records research.
• Understands construction plans and utility records.
• Follows policies to ensure accurate, efficient deliverables.
• Mentor field staff in equipment use.
