Job summary

Cascade Community Healthcare is seeking a qualified SUDP to deliver clinical services to clients in Lewis County and surrounding areas. The role includes biopsychosocial assessments, group facilitation, treatment planning, and collaboration with a care team.

The position requires WA credentials, at least one year of SUD experience, strong communication, and reliable record-keeping. Day shift, occasional travel to nearby Cascade facilities, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold Washington State SUDP or SUDPT credential with WA Department of Health.
• Minimum of one year continuous experience as a Substance Use Professional in approved WA treatment facility.
• Pass WA state background checks; national check may be required.
• Able to represent the agency professionally.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills; meticulous record-keeping.

ABOUT CASCADE:

Cascade Community Healthcare (CCH) has been providing treatment services to Lewis County and surrounding areas for more than 50 years. Our mission is to provide our clients with compassionate and encouraging counseling leading to a renewed sense of hope and the ability to make positive changes and live more satisfying lives. Cascade currently has six treatment locations in Lewis County.

We are looking for an SUDP to join our Team! This position is responsible for delivery of clinical services to identified clients. Ability to collect date, analyze, interpret, and evaluate information gathered from the biopsychosocial and other assessment tools to adequately facilitate treatment planning with meaningful goals and objectives to meet the client’s needs.

SHIFTS AVAILABLE:

Day Shift: Monday - Thursday, 9:30am - 8:00pm

TRAVEL:

This position may require travel to Morton, Packwood, and other Cascade Facilities. Must be physically and legally able to drive in Washington State.

PAY SCALE:

SUDP: $30.24 - $36.86

SUDPT: $22.04 - $26.87

WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE:

SUDP:

• Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) or Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee (SUDPT) credential with Washington State Department of Health.
• One year (minimum) of continuous working experience as a Substance Use Professional in an outpatient or inpatient Washington State approved substance use treatment facility.
• Must be able to pass a WA state background checks. A national background check may be required if have not lived in WA state consecutively the last three years.
• Must be able to represent the agency in a positive and professional manner.
• Must comply with agency policies and procedures.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills with ability to maintain up to date and meticulous records.
• Must maintain current phone and mailing address on file with the Human Resources Office.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Utilizes professional knowledge and skill on the biopsychosocial assessment. Provides outpatient groups according to curriculum.
• Collaborates with client and colleagues in developing the plan of care.
• Demonstrates client education skills.
• Contributes to the smooth functioning of the agency.
• Performs regular and recurrent direct clinical contact with a diverse population.
• Meets direct service productivity requirements as assigned by the Director of SUD, SE, & MAT.
• Provides on-call phone rotation.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
