Job summary

PsychPros, Inc. is recruiting a SUDP Addiction Counselor for a full-time position in Chelan, WA. The successful candidate will conduct assessments, provide individual and group counseling, and coordinate with a care team to support patients’ wellness and recovery.

Minimum two years of substance abuse treatment experience is required, along with SUDP certification. Associate’s degree is required; a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is preferred. A sign-on bonus of $10,000 is included.

Responsibilities

• Engage patients at risk for SUD using Motivational Interviewing to discuss support and positive health behaviors.

• Collaborate with care coordinators, therapists, behavioral medicine consultants, psychiatric providers, and primary care providers to support wellness and recovery.

Pay

Salary $74,216-$82,864 depending on education and experience $10K sign on bonus

Responsibilities

• Use a Motivational Interviewing approach in meeting with patients who are screened or otherwise identified as at-risk for having a substance use disorder to engage them in discussion that leads toward support, identification of substance use problems, related consequences, and offer support toward positive health-related behaviors.
• Provide assessments, information and consultation, group and individual substance abuse counseling, and referrals services.
• Work in collaboration with care coordinators, therapists, behavioral medicine consultants, psychiatric providers, and primary care providers in the provision of treatment services to support patients’ wellness and recovery.
