Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health is seeking a Substance Use Disorder Therapist (OP) in Columbia, MD, full-time, earning $34-44/hour. The role emphasizes client-centered care, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and flexible scheduling.

You will conduct assessments, group sessions, and education while coordinating with referrals to support lasting recovery. Requirements include a Master's degree in a relevant field and Maryland credentials (LGPC/LMSW/LCSW/LCSW-C), with at least 2

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the SUD field.
• Master's degree in counseling, Social Work, Marriage &Family Therapy, or related field.
• Credentials: LGPC, LMSW, LCSW, or LCSW-C (Maryland).
• Strong clinical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Comfort working in an electronic medical record system.
• If in personal recovery: 3+ years sobriety preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build collaborative treatment alliances with patients and adapt to evolving needs.
• Facilitate addiction treatment groups at the OP level of care.
• Deliver addiction and recovery education presentations.
• Conduct assessments, case management, discharge planning, and coordinate with referrals.
• Address co-occurring psychiatric needs with the treatment team.
• Complete evaluations for SUD using DSM-5 and ASAM criteria.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation meeting state and CARF standards.
• Track retention, attendance, completion, and treatment goals.
• Share on-call coverage on a rotating basis to support crises.
• Apply Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and trauma-informed care.
• Represent Kolmac/CCG with professionalism in and out of session.
