VitalCore Health Strategies is hiring a Substance Use Disorder Counselor for a full-time role at the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution in Wilmington, Delaware. This position offers the opportunity to engage with individuals facing significant challenges, and work within a multidisciplinary team to provide proactive treatment.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and a substance use certification, or be working toward certification, with flexibility in scheduling. Comprehensive benefits including health insurance and a 401K plan are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Bachelor’s level program or higher.
• Must have a substance use certification or actively working towards it.
• Flexibility of working days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis stabilization and consultations to community services.
• Conduct risk assessments and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Prepare necessary documentation and reports.
