Job summary

Central City Health is hiring a Clinical Therapist in Detroit, MI. The role performs intake, screening, assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, case management, and supportive services for individuals, families, and groups in person.

Requires a Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling and Michigan licensure (LMSW/LLMSW/LP/LLP or PC). One year of relevant experience is preferred; CDL is required or must be obtained within 30 days. Full-time, in-person position.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in social work, psychology, or counseling.
• Current Michigan licensure (LMSW/LLMSW/LP/LLP/PC) required.
• 1 year experience treating mental illness and/or SUD preferred.
• Must complete MCBAP Development Plan within 90 DOH.
• CDL required; may apply without CDL but must obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Conducts intake, screening, assessment, and counseling.
• Provides crisis intervention and case management.
• Delivers supportive services to individuals, families, and groups.
• Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings to review problems.
• Documents progress and assists in relapse prevention planning.
