Job summary

Subway - Hufnagel Holdings is hiring a Manager in New York to lead daily operations, supervise staff, and drive sales growth. You’ll ensure excellent guest experiences, safe food handling, and strong store performance in a fast-paced environment.

The role includes training, inventory control, and marketing support across local initiatives. A high school diploma is required with 2 years in restaurant supervision; a college degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in a restaurant environment with staff supervision/training.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills; ability to operate sale system/cash register.
• Ability to lift 10–25 pounds and stand for long periods.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Providing an excellent guest experience

• Ensuring that great food is prepared & served

• Keeping our restaurants functional, clean and beautiful

• Ensuring safety and security protocols are followed. Including being aware of local and national healthy and food safety codes

• Managing inventory and money control systems

• Coordinating local marketing initiatives, including community outreach

• Recruiting staff

• Maintaining business records and analyzing them to help increase sales

• Identifying and contacting prospective Guests to promote sales

• Supporting local and national marketing initiatives, ensuring restaurant is ready on every level for the beginning of a new marketing window

What You’ll Need:

• High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred

• A minimum of 2 years in a restaurant environment, experience in supervising and training staff.
