Subway - Hufnagel Holdings LLC in New York seeks a Manager to lead daily operations, ensure quality service, and maintain safety standards. You will supervise staff, manage inventory, and coordinate local marketing initiatives while delivering a top guest experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

The role offers a full-time schedule with a compensation range of $18.00–$20.00 per hour, plus bonuses, tips, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in a restaurant environment with supervising/training experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic math and operate sales systems.
• Strong attention to detail; able to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide an excellent guest experience and ensure great food is prepared and served.
• Keep the restaurant functional, clean and well presented.
• Follow safety and security protocols including local and national codes.
• Manage inventory and money control systems.
• Coordinate local marketing and recruitment of staff.
• Maintain business records and analyze them to help increase sales.
• Contact prospective guests to promote sales and support marketing initiatives.
• Be a team player and participate in training.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Providing an excellent guest experience

• Ensuring that great food is prepared & served

• Keeping our restaurants functional, clean and beautiful

• Ensuring safety and security protocols are followed. Including being aware of local and national healthy and food safety codes

• Managing inventory and money control systems

• Coordinating local marketing initiatives, including community outreach

• Recruiting staff

• Maintaining business records and analyzing them to help increase sales

• Identifying and contacting prospective Guests to promote sales

• Supporting local and national marketing initiatives, ensuring restaurant is ready on every level for the beginning of a new marketing window

• Maintaining standards of restaurant safety and security

What You’ll Need:

• High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred

• A minimum of 2 years in a restaurant environment, experience in supervising and training staff.
