Job summary

DiPasqua Brands, llc. is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead the Subway® Team in a fast-paced environment.

You will ensure great food is prepared and served, maintain cleanliness, manage inventory and money control systems, and coordinate local marketing initiatives with a focus on community outreach. You will recruit and reward outstanding team members, enforce safety protocols, analyze sales data, contact prospective guests to boost sales, support marketing efforts, and plan events.

Qualifications

• Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members.
• Computer knowledge and POS familiarity are essential.
• Experience supervising and training staff in a restaurant environment.

Full job description

As part of the Subway® Team, you as a Manager will focus on eight main things:

• Ensuring that great food is prepared & served
• Keeping our restaurants functional, clean and beautiful
• Managing inventory and money control systems
• Coordinating local marketing initiatives, including community outreach
• Maintaining standards of restaurant safety and security
• Being a team player

In addition to the role of a Manager, key parts of your day-to-day will consist of:

• Recruiting and rewarding outstanding Team members
• Ensuring safety and security protocols are followed. Including being aware of local and national health and food safety codes
• Maintaining business records and analyzing them to help increase sales
• Identifying and contacting prospective Guests to promote sales
• Supporting local and national marketing initiatives, ensuring the restaurant is ready on every level for the beginning of a new marketing window
• Planning special events and promotions

Prerequisites

Education: High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred

Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a restaurant environment, experience in supervising and training staff.

Essential functions

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is essential.

Physical

Ability to work in any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
