Job Summary
Electronics Engineering Technician responsible for troubleshooting, testing, and calibration of electronic test and measurement equipment. This role includes component-level diagnostics, repair of returned units, and supporting production through final assembly and testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot PCB assemblies to the component level using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Perform final assembly ("box build"), testing, and calibration of electronic equipment
- Diagnose failing components and complete repairs rather than replacing full assemblies
- Repair, test, and recalibrate units returned from the field
- Read and interpret electrical schematics for troubleshooting and circuit analysis
- Maintain production documentation, repair logs, and inventory records
- Work independently to identify root causes and resolve technical issues
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and other departments as needed

- Electrical test and measurement equipment
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of electronics or electrical troubleshooting experience
- Strong understanding of circuit analysis and electronic theory
- Ability to read and interpret schematics
- Experience troubleshooting to the component level
- Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and similar diagnostic tools
- Ability to work independently and solve complex technical issues
- Willingness to work overtime (5–10 hours/week as needed)
- Strong attention to detail and documentation practices
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology (BSEET, BSEE, or similar)
- Experience with SMT soldering and de-soldering (basic repair level acceptable)
