Job summary

Oxy, Inc. in Houston seeks a Subsurface Data Integration Specialist to join the Technical Systems & Data team.

You will own the master data management workflow for subsurface well data, coordinating with Data Advisors, SOR owners and vendors to ensure data integrity across Landmark R5000, OpenWorks and Petrel Studio. You will implement data quality standards, design cloud-aligned data architectures (OSDU/AWS), and help modernize the data platform while preserving lineage, context, and data

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Geoscience, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of experience managing oil & gas geoscience, drilling, and engineering technical data.
10+ years of experience loading and managing well data in Landmark R5000, Petrel Studio, or similar subsurface software.

Responsibilities

Translate business and subsurface domain requirements into scalable, secure data architectures.
Drive adoption of OSDU data structures across data domains (exploration, drilling, production, reservoir).
Lead integration of subsurface systems with OSDU-compliant platforms.
Design data platforms with cloud providers (AWS) and ensure data quality and governance.
