Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on subsurface utility locating experience at engineering/design level.
• Experience operating Trimble GPS/GNSS for data collection.
• Familiarity with ESRI Field Maps or similar GIS/mobile mapping.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering-grade subsurface utility locates per project requirements and best practices.
• Identify, locate, and document utilities (gas, electric, water, sewer, telecom, fiber) with high accuracy.
• Capture and manage field data using Trimble GPS/GNSS and GIS platforms.
• Interpret records, as-builts, surveys and plans to support locating.
• Document locate quality, uncertainties, and conflicts for engineers and designers.
• Coordinate with project managers, surveyors and engineering staff to ensure data accuracy.
• Follow safety protocols and SUE guidelines; prepare field notes, sketches and photos.
