Job summary

StudentNest Group is seeking an in-person tutor to deliver targeted math instruction for middle school students at the Lake Los Angeles Library. The role runs Tue–Thu from 2:30–7:30 PM and requires engaging, small-group sessions using our curriculum and edtech tools.

You will differentiate instruction for diverse learners, prepare lesson plans during prep time, and support student growth and confidence. Fingerprinting and clearance are required, along with references and driving reliability.

Qualifications

• Fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of offer.
• DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance requirements for this position.
• Provide three professional references.
• Sixty college credits.
• At least one year of student-related experience.
• You are detail-oriented and highly dependable.
• You are an effective communicator.
• Reliable transportation.
• Be able to provide a negative tuberculosis test within 2 weeks of hiring.
• You love learning, teaching, and empowering others to soar.

Pay:

• $22.00-$24.00, dependent on experience, department worked and other factors

In this role, you will:
