Job summary

Kokua Education is seeking substitute teachers in Indianapolis, IN. You can set your own schedule, work up to 5 days a week, and earn up to $135 per day while making a real impact in the community.

You'll receive weekly pay and have the path to permanent roles at K-12 schools. We support you with background checks reimbursed after 10 assignments and provide guidance through the licensing steps.

Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year working with kids in any setting (classroom, tutoring, coaching, etc.).
• Hold an Associate's degree or 60+ credit hours.
• Indiana Substitute Teacher Permit OR Indiana Educator License is required.

Responsibilities

• Cover lessons and supervise students as needed.
• Help with lunch/recess supervision, hallway monitoring, tutoring, and testing support.
